Families of America Coats of Arms

Based on the book “Bolton’s American Armory”, (1st edition 1927), written by Charles Knowles Bolton. The arms were researched by the author and his team of associates, and were researched using numerous sources including, heraldic journals, heraldic rolls, other heraldic writers, gravestones, engraved silver, wills and other legal documents, bookplates, automobiles, paintings and other works of art, letterhead and heraldic seals, and many others.

The Families of America collection features the American Bald Eagle Head surmounting the shield which in turn is supported by torches, symbolizing the Statue of Liberty. The surname spellings are as recorded in Bolton’s book. You will find many rare names included in the collection.
