Billet	Variants: Billet
An oblong square with a flat surface. As to what they represent there is a great diversity of opinion; some consider they represent bricks, others billets-doux. Billet is a term used to describe metal stock before it has been forged or machined into a final form and would quite commonly take the form of this charge.
