Caduceus	Variants: Caduceus, Mercury's Mace, Wand, Snaky-staff, Mercury's Soporiferous Rod
The emblem of peace. It is frequently borne with a cap (called the Petasus) on the top of the staff. This is sometimes incorrectly associated with medicine. The correct symbol with classical association with medicine is The Rod of Esculapius or Asclepius.
